Actions to Foster Collaboration

Cross-border collaboration is at the heart of UA_EU_CLUSTER5.0. This action is designed to bridge gaps between Ukrainian, Portuguese, and Italian SMEs and clusters by:

• Organising B2B Matchmaking events and in-person networking opportunities to establish high-value partnerships;

• Appointing trained brokers and mentors (at least 10 per country) to facilitate cross-cluster relationships and manage the lifecycle of collaborations;

• Creating joint roadmaps and strategic value chains that allow cluster members to co-develop solutions and co-apply for EU funding;

• Leveraging Triple Helix synergies — involving academia, industry, and policy actors — to anchor collaborations in research and strategic innovation
